Description

PromptPlanner is a native Mac prompt manager that gives people who work with AI tools a single organized prompt library to hold the instructions that drive their work. Instead of digging through past chats or loose documents, you capture each useful prompt as a text card and drop it onto a board shaped around your projects. Every project sits in its own column with a goal and a running list of what is left, which keeps your intent and your next steps in view together.

The daily rhythm stays light. You decide what needs doing, click a card to grab the prompt, paste it into whichever AI tool you prefer, and set the card aside once it is handled. When you want to pass along a richer context, you can export a full project as one instruction block that already carries the goal and the open items, which helps when you are briefing an assistant on a larger task. Because each project holds its own context, running several agents at the same time becomes far less messy.

For work that comes back on a cycle, the scheduling feature returns prompts on a daily, weekly, two-week, or four-week basis, so routine reviews, releases, and admin chores never quietly slip off your list. A local stats panel rounds it out by showing how much you start against how much you complete, giving you a fast read on where your effort is paying off.

The app is built to feel at home on a Mac. It opens from the menu bar, the Dock, or a quick keyboard switch, and works like a compact hub you check before heading back to your editor. There is no account to create and nothing leaves your device, so your whole prompt library of boards, projects, and cards stays private and quick to reach. For anyone who builds with AI and wants their prompts ordered, scheduled, and a click away, it turns a scattered habit into a system you can rely on.
