Description
Aaven turns the news topics you pick into a natural-voice spoken briefing for your iPhone, so you can keep up with the news while commuting, walking or making dinner.
Pick categories (top stories, technology, business, world, science, health, sports) and sources; Aaven fetches the latest headlines, summarizes them and reads them aloud. Daily extras include Wikipedia's On This Day and Merriam-Webster's Word of the Day.
All content and narration are in English, so it also works as English listening practice with real, current news. Reading speed is adjustable and every story links to the original article.
Free: daily top headlines and daily features read aloud, no account needed. Aaven Plus (monthly or yearly subscription): unlimited sources and categories, higher-quality voices, offline listening and custom playback settings.
