We set out to make meeting fellow travelers better by gamifying the experience. Tripanion is built with an interactive question/answer matching game, complete with over 1000 questions. The more you answer the questions, the more like-minded matches you receive.
We piloted this concept back in 2019, at private parties. The results were amazing, so we decided to take it to the next level and advance the algorithm to include personality traits, interests, tastes, opinions, and much more. There are thousands of variables you can get matched on, the predominant one being your travel preferences. However, Tripanion goes far beyond travel. You can complete the personality quiz portion of the app and the algorithm will provide you with scores for 20 personality traits, including: Leadership, Openness, Optimism, Bravado, Pugnaciousness, etc.
